Ted Stiles Preserve at Baldpate Mountain is named to honor the Rutgers University professor of biological sciences who campaigned for nearly a decade to make the park a reality. (scroll down a bit for Baldpate). The trail leaves the brook, skirts a hillside, bends left and then right, passing the Kuser Connector which runs over to the Copper Hill Trail.
